Served as Chairman: 2013-2016Editor of The Scribe Journal 2008-12. Chair of the Editorial Board 2008-12. Served on the Executive Committee 2006-9 and 2009-12. Exhibition Committee member 2010. Exhibited work in Celebrate Calligraphy 2011. Ran the Divine Inspiration exhibition in 2016. Undertakes public and private commissions, and teaches workshops around the country.

Margaret Daubney (1945-2006
)
Elected to Fellowship in 1989.
Editor of 'The Scribe' 1988 to 1993. She studied with Ann Hechle before joining Digby Stuart College where she studied under Ann Camp, Gaynor Goffe, Tom Perkins and Gerald Fleuss from 1984 to 1988. She became Head of Course at Roehampton in 1998 and continued to teach Adult Education classes as well. Tutor on the SSI's Advanced Training Scheme since 1992, leading the tutors since 1999. A Founder of CLAS in 1994 with Peter Halliday, Brian Walker, Tom Barnard and Sue Cavendish. Her work appears in Calligraphy Masterclass ed. Peter Halliday and Florilege ed. Alain Mazeran. (contrib. S. Gunn) Her library will be kept in Finland by Veiko Vespersaks at the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, School of Fine Art, Kankaanpaa.

Combined calligraphy with graphic design, and produced many works as limited edition prints.

Hazel Dolby
Elected to Fellowship in 1991.
Studied at the Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts from 1961-65, receiving the National Diploma of Design (Illustration and Graphics). In 1967 she began to teach art in schools, taking time off to study calligraphy at Digby Stuart College from 1986 to 1991, where she received the Diploma and the Diploma in Advanced Calligraphy, both with distinction. She attended workshops with Sam Somerville, Thomas Ingmire, Donald Jackson, Hans-Joachim Burgert and Gottfried Pott. To an increasing extent, she regards her work as art rather than calligraphy. Her work appears in Calligraphy, The Rhythm of Writing by Satwinder Sehmi, and the Fine Words, Fine Books SSI exhibition catalogue.(details S. Gunn)
