Penny Price is a Fellow of the Society of Scribes and Illuminators. She is also an Honoured Fellow and previous Chairman of the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society and works from a studio in Cambridge. She is also a professional Botanical artist and illustrator. She is a Fellow of the Linnean Society, London. She has work in many public and private collections, including the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge; Hampton Court Palace; RHS Lindley Library, London; the Hunt Institute, Pittsburgh, USA and Sydney Royal Botanic Garden. For many years she has been Scribe to the University of Cambridge and has specialist experience working with historical tools and materials for manuscript production. As a qualified teacher she teaches both calligraphy and botanical art workshops and lectures worldwide.
