Deadline: 4 August 2016
The Heritage Craft Association is working with the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust to offer an apprenticeship bursary for up to £18,000 (average £7,000).
This opportunity is for those already in ‘entry-level’ work as an apprentice with a master craftsperson or craft business, and QEST are looking for well thought out proposals which will contribute to the excellence of modern and traditional British crafts. On the application form you need to explain clearly why the proposed training will improve your skills and what you expect to achieve as a result. You also need to give a careful estimate of the full cost of the training you would like to undertake
Important: for the HCA/QEST Apprenticeship, you should mention on the application form that you are applying through the HCA.
